Waterford ‘Blas from the Past' - an Intergenerational Project exploring Waterford's Food Heritage are searching for old Waterford recipes.
Do you have a family recipe you would like to share? Know the best way to make skirt and kidney stew? Have you modern recipes using good quality local ingredients?
St Brigid's Family & Community Centre and The Inner City Community Youth Project in partnership with Waterford City Council Harvest Festival Committee are taking part in an 8 week intergenerational project bringing together people of all ages to explore recipes and produce dishes that are representative of Waterford down through the years. The group will then publish a calendar for 2013 of recipes and photos of the Project. This calendar will be launched at the Waterford Harvest Festival in September.
