Open House in Waterford Cheshire

Wednesday, 11th July 2012

On Sunday 15th July from 3pm to 5pm Waterford Cheshire will open its doors to welcome neighbours, local business people and members of the wider Waterford community. As part of the Macra na Feirme 'Know Your Neighbour' annual initiative, Waterford Cheshire is hosting an Open House at their premises on John's Hill, Waterford. Cabríní de Barra, the service manager says that "this will be a great opportunity for Cheshire in Waterford to spread the word about the services and supports we provide to people with a disability. We want to welcome people in, get to know them and hopefully raise people's awareness of the work undertaken by Cheshire Ireland not just in Waterford, but also nationally”. People are invited to drop in at any time between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday 15th July, when wine and cheese, sandwiches and light refreshments will be served. The Munster Final Match between Waterford and Tipperary will be shown in the sitting room, so missing the match is no excuse not to visit! St. Patrick's Hospital next door on John's Hill will be hosting a Garden Fete on the same afternoon, providing even more reasons for people to come and visit. Further information about Waterford Cheshire Open House is available from Cabríní de Barra, Service Manager on 051-871647 or 087-2904020.
