Information evening for festival and event organisers on the Gathering Ireland Initiative 2013
Attention all Festival/Event organisers in Waterford City and County. Important information meetings on the Gathering Ireland 2013 the Government‘s tourism initiative will take place in the Park Hotel Dungarvan on Monday July 9th 2012 at 7pm and in the Greyfriars Gallery Waterford City on July 10th at 6.30pm.
Fionnán Nestor from The Gathering Ireland 2013 will attend the meeting and give a presentation on the concept and the role that festivals and events can play in attracting Waterford Diaspora in 2013.Waterford City Council and Waterford County Council have been asked to assist in co-ordinating Waterford’s Gathering Initiative. They have agreed a joint strategic approach which will include a joint promotional campaign. Preliminary information on their outline marketing strategy will also be presented at this meeting.
