Prescription reductions at Sam McCauley Chemists
Wednesday, 6th June 2012
Sam McCauley Chemists Group has always had a consistent policy of offering its customers the best possible value. This has been actively marketed over the past number of years through our 'Healthy Savings' brochure where we have checked, matched and beaten our competitors. In keeping with this policy we have decided to offer our customers huge savings on all prescriptions. With immediate effect we have taken the decision to abolish all mark-ups on prescriptions and to replace this with a flat fee of €6.95. This will result in huge savings for all patients.
Commenting on this move Patrick McCormack Managing Director said “We are pleased to be able to continue our policy of always offering the best price to our customers, which has proven to be very successful across all 26 stores in our group. I have no doubt that this strategy, in conjunction with our excellent customer service and wide range of products and services will consolidate our position as a leading player in the Irish Retail Pharmacy Market. As a wholly Irish owned company we continue to offer our customers a real alternative to multinational entrants to the market.”
