The Special Olympics Collection Day took place last Fri 27th April. Despite the rain over 70 volunteers took to the streets of Waterford to show support. They shook their buckets to collect much needed funds and helped make the day a huge success. We'd like to thank each and every volunteer who helped us collect, organised entertainment, performed in the city, dressed up in costumes and entertained the kids, promoted our Collection Day, generously donated or just wished us well on the day. A special Thanks to Sinead in the Kazbar who very kindly donated the use of the top room for our base for the day and provided food for all the hungry volunteers. Another big Thank You to John O'Brien in TEVA who organised a cake sale and raised €500 for the cause. We salute and Thank you all!
