Cancer Centre earns JCI Accreditation
International quality standard awarded to Waterford Centre
The UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre at the Whitfield Clinic, Waterford has earned Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation in recent weeks for a second time. The international award recognises the high quality of care and patient safety provided at the centre.
The UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre provides radiation therapy to public and private patients in the South East. Treatments include Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy, 4D Planning and Respiratory Gating, Prostate Brachytherapy and PET CT Scanning.
