Beware of Farm Machinery

An Agriculture Commentator from Rathgormack County Waterford Michael Flynn has said that people need to be fully aware of the dangers of Farm Machinery especially at this time of year. Many Tractors when they are coming out of fields at this time of year can be attached to long trailed implements and its very important to know they will take some time to exit the field properly. Cars need to slow down immediately when they see an agriculture tractor in the distance for this reason and also when these vehicles are travelling on the roads they are going at very slow speeds compared to that of a car. Mr. Flynn went on to say that young people who are newly onto our roads need to be fully aware of the dangers of these slow moving vehicles in order to avoid accidents.
