Charity fundraiser for Tall Ships

On June 30th The Lord Nelson will sail into Waterford for the 2011 Tall Ships festival. This ship is one of two very special ships run by the Jubilee Sailing Trust. This charitys mission is to enable people with a disability to show themselves, and others what thy are capable of when the environment is designed to be inclusive. They provide a chance for disabled and able bodied to sail side by side as equals. On board will be Waterford man Steve Canavan who is raising money for the J.S.T over the next few weeks. One of these events is an Inter Pubs Quiz at the Showboat on Thursday June 9th at 8.30pm. the cost is just 20 euros per team or 5 euros for an individual.
