Harvey Norman fundraises for ISPCC

Pictured from left are: Eoghan Carroll (Harvey Norman, ISPCC Co-ordinator); Anne Cooney (Head of Corporate Fundraising ISPCC) and Michael Patton (Harvey Norman) growing a beard to raise funds for the ISPCC.

This week Harvey Norman presented a cheque to the amount of €9,500 to the ISPCC, their official charity partner. The sum raised is as a result of collective fundraising activities by their branches and head office staff over the past 6 months.

"Our partnership with the ISPCC has been in effect since October 2010 and we at Harvey Norman are delighted to help contribute towards such an important charity. With a lot more initiatives in the pipeline, we hope the relationship between Harvey Norman and the ISPCC will continue to grow and prosper'. Eoghan Carroll – ISPCC Co-ordinator for Harvey Norman.

"Thanks to their support we will be able to train 15 new volunteers to answer calls from scared and lonely Irish children. These 15 new volunteers will answer over 22,000 calls in a 12 month period - calls from children who have no where else to turn to. We look forward to continuing to build on this great partnership between Harvey Norman and the ISPCC over the coming months. – Anne Cooney – Head of Corporate Fundraising, ISPCC.
