Speaking at the launch of the website, Paddy Gallagher (Managing Director/Editor) said : "Despite tough economic times delivering a quality product to our readers has always been our number one priority. Our online content is now being viewed by hundreds of thousands of online readers each month. Our newly designed website will certainly establish us as being the main source for Waterford News on an international stage. The design team responsible for developing the new website was Bright Light a local Web & Graphic Design company based here in Waterford. When asked about some of the new website features, William Hayes of Bright Light (www.brightlight.ie) had this to say: "we had several key goals throughout this project, the biggest of which was streamlining the process of importing weekly content, whilst also implementing a seamless feed to our Facebook, Twitter & Google News accounts, all the while keeping functionality and design in mind."
For companies looking to advertise online, our new "Online Advertising package" will be available within the next week or two - allowing advertisers to upload and manage their own online banners directly on the Waterford Today website, where you can take advantage of our ever increasing readership.
