Gerald Hurley CEO of Waterford Chamber Visits Connect Effect

The Connect Effect were delighted to have Waterford Chamber CEO Gerald Hurley visit as guest speaker last week. Gerald spoke about the role of Waterford Chamber in the City, and the on-going initiatives by the Chamber to make Waterford a better place to do business.

The Connect Effect is network of local businesses from Waterford City and its surrounding environs. It helps its members grow their businesses in a positive and supportive environment. The Connect Effect does this by providing a structured weekly meeting, to facilitate members to get to know other business people and to showcase their own business.

    Religious ToleranceAt a public meeting last week to discuss the plans for a new mosque in Kilkenny, it seemed that out of the crowd of approximately 200 that attended, the overwhelming majority were against the idea.
