Record Equalling Run By All About Ya

The opening race last Saturday had Kilcohan Park buzzing as the Willie Rigney owned and Peter Cronin trained All About Ya equalled the standard trip track record this 1/1 favourite producing a stunning front running effort to lead all the way in a sizzling 28.09. Leading early on from a gallant Crafty Sara All About Ya moved up a gear down the back before coming home four lengths clear of 'Crafty'. Former Munster Oaks winner Lolos Choice also returned a winning time of 28.09 back in September 2005.

The fastest winner on Friday night came in race five with the Cian O Regan owned and Pat O Regan trained Brykar Bojangles 6/4 sluicing up in a speedy 28.81. Coming out through the bars of trap five 'Brykar' had this contest in safe keeping opening up a significant early lead over Ballyhi Pearl. A slow starting Taffys Round eventually finished best of the rest but despite drifting wide off the home turn 'Brykar' went on to triumph by three and a half lengths.
