SE League event

Waterford Orienteers will host the second SE League event of 2014 at Ballyconnery wood on the Colligan river, north of Dungarvan on Sunday 2nd February. The event carpark is at grid reference X 213 971. Follow signs from the R672. Starts are between 11 and 12.30. Courses close at 2.30 The usual range of courses will be on offer from Blue to Yellow. Anyone bringing a group is asked to contact the event organiser to ensure enough maps are printed. For anyone involved in schools orienteering, please note that the SE schools competition at Kennedy park will now be held on February 27th instead of 13th February.

Green: 1. Norman Storey; 2. Lisa Honkasaari; 3. Joan Morgan

Light green: 1. Jordan Pim; 2. Mick Morgan; 3. Eoghan Devereux

Red: 1. Kyle Sullivan; 2. Milly Pim

Yellow: 1. Louis Sullivan

Crime & PunishmentIt seems that not a week goes by without some media stories about murder, manslaughter and assaults assailing the general public. Some stories in particular about murders, seem to take on a life of their own and turn into something more resembling a soap opera in the nature of their telling.
