Go Games Referee Course

A Go Games Referee Course will take place this coming Saturday. The course takes place in Lawlor's Hotel 10am-1pm. There is not cost to attend the course however anyone interested must register before with any of the GDA's. You must be aged 14 and over to attend this course. Those who complete the course will get the opportunity to referee in Club and C&GD Go Games U8 & U10 blitzes during the year

Youth Development Programme 2013

Waterford C&GD will be running a Youth Development Programme in 2013. This will consist of a 3 day programme over Easter and a 3 day programme in July. Each programme will run in 4 venues across the county and they are open to those born in 1998 & 1999 only. There will be guest Intercounty Coaches, Skills Development, Competitions over the 3 days.

Tue 2nd-Thur 4th April: 11am-2pm & Tue 16th – Thur 18th July 11am-2pm

Lismore GAA Club, Fraher Field, Kill GAA Club & Walsh Park. Cost is €10 for the 3 days and places can be booked by sending in completed application forms and payment to the Coaching Office in Walsh Park. Application forms are available from Coordinator Liam Cheasty & GDA's in the county. Places are limited so be sure to book early!

Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps Club Coordinators meeting

All Club coordinators are requested to be in attendance for a coordinators meeting on Thursday 21st March in Lawlor's Hotel 7.30pm-8.45pm. Application forms, posters and general information about the 2013 Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps will be available on the night.

Carriganore Blitzes

The Carriganore blitzes continue on Sat 23rd March with U10 hurling taking centre stage. Action starts at 11am and all clubs are asked to be on pitches for 11am. Clubs to have team entries in by Tuesday 19th March. There is U8 & U10 Football penciled in for April 13th & 27th.

Coaches/Mentor Workshops

All Coaches/Mentors from all clubs participating in the U11 or U12 Hurling and Gaelic Football are requested to come to 1 workshop. Club Coaching Officers should also be in attendance at this workshop. "To discuss with mentors the implementation of the playing rules of the U11 & U12 Hurling and Gaelic Football Mini Leagues in Waterford for the benefit of all clubs"

Coach/Mentor Workshops will take place Monday 11th March 7pm-8pm in Lawlor's Hotel and Wed 13th March 7pm-8pm in Carriganore

C&GD Planner

The C&GD Planner for 2013 has been sent to all clubs and larger laminated copies are available for clubs to get. If any club wants the laminated copies please contact the GDA's and we will send them to clubs.
