Carrigoe Jimmy displayed his class

Showcasing last Saturday nights ten race card was the final of the Race Sponsorship A2 525 yards event (winner 1,020 Euro). Showing plenty of early dash from trap two the Derek Wilde-owned and Pakie Whelan-trained Carrigoe Jimmy 2/1 did well to corner in front of the always prominent Colling Wood. The latter gave of his best in second place throughout but 'Carrigoe' (Nobooth For Gary-Marys Moment) was not for catching and registering his third straight win in this competition galloped on to a two lengths success in a lively 28.56.

Final of the Fundraising Meetings A3 550 yard stake. Winner 1,000 Euro; Semi-finals of the Purple and Gold A4 525. Winner 1,000 Euro; Semi-finals of the 2012 Ladbrokes Irish Derby Trial Stake. Winner Euro 500 and free entry to the 2012 Irish Derby.

Supporters Club Draw

The Track Supporters Club held their monthly draw last Friday and the lucky winner of the 500 Euro prize was Margaret Doherty, Rahard, Mullinavat, County Kilkenny.
