Roseville Chloe in a hurry
The final of the Paddy Sharkey, Track Bookmaker, A5 event showcased a ten race card last Saturday night. Zoos Saxobeat was despatched as the red hot 4/6 favourite but she lost ground with a slow exit from trap one and was then involved in first and third bend crowding. There were no such problems for the Alan Weldon-owned Roseville Chloe (Droopys Vieri-Lady Bluebell) this 3/1 chance dashing into a first bend lead. High Daddy showed plenty of back stretch pace but ran out of racing room over the final two bends. Meanwhile there was no catching a strong running Roseville Chloe who went on to capture the 1,000 Euro first prize by two lengths from High Daddy in 28.99.
