Last Sunday we played 13 hole singles competition in very soft conditions
1st Peter O'Rourke (16) 31pts
2nd Robert Fleming (13) 30pts
3rd Joe Cunningham (17) 28pts c/b.
Next Sunday we hope to play our competition on more firmer ground.

We send our condolences to Rosemary Canty on the death of her husband Jerry who died recently.

We send our best wishes to club member Brendan Kenneally who is contesting the General Election this week.

Greetings ladies, sorry we have no results again this week, but good news, our Coffee Morning is on Saturday 5th March at 10.30am.
As you know, this is one of those unmissable events, a lively get together, and there are two guest speakers lined up to add to the entertainment. So write it in your diary and see you all there.

Once in a blue moon. As rare as hen's teeth. A Government success. Each of those three sentences are as unusual and as rare as each other. But the last one seems to be about to take place. The Government has announced that it plans to give each child in the State a second year of free pre-school.
