Home Alliance at Carrick-on-Suir GC
Despite the gale force winds and heavy rain almost 100 members took part in last weeks fourth round of the home alliance. Scoring was tough, as this round of the competition was held over the back 9 and our congratulations go to Tony Ryan who had an excellent round of 22 points to win the event. In team news the event is still being being lead by the Rouges (Seamus O'Doherty, Eddie Casey, John Hennessy, Jimmy O'Callaghan, Peter Moore & Alan Casey) on 244 points followed in second The Lodgers (Fr Flynn, Michael Allen, H.E. Nolan, Tom Power, Jimmy Flynn & John Geraghty) on 240 points. The 5th round will be played this coming weekend over the front 9 holes.
