Aries: March 21 – April 20
Sometimes when a job needs doing around the house the person expected to do it suddenly becomes ill - I think it is called ‘swinging the lead' - backache when the painting is required, vertigo when a ladder needs to be climbed. Maybe the person should get checked out, find out whether they are ‘playing the old soldier', or whether there really is something wrong – in which case help can be got, for those jobs really need doing.
Taurus: April 21 – May 21
A sudden influx of money does not mean that we as individuals, or indeed as a society, can go back to our old ‘spend, spend, spend' ways. For if we have learned nothing of the past, then what was the point of the lesson? This could be a very good moment for delegating work and responsibilities around younger members of the family – you know, those holiday-making schoolboys and girls who are just starting to get a bit bored with the days.
Gemini: May 22 – June 21
Life for all of us, particularly at this time of the year, appears to be getting more complicated with each passing day, and you seem to have the opportunity to simplify yours – maybe by walking away from something that has outstayed its welcome for you. The suggestion is, that you think again, be absolutely certain that it can be accomplished without burning your bridges behind you. Then when you are confident and as sure as you can be act!
Cancer: June 22 – July 22
There might be a sort of wake up call for you this week – some great clarion shriek that reminds you of all those things you promised to do, but have yet to accomplish. However, there is just time enough to get it all done twixt now and the end of the month (for this next six to eight weeks brings clarity to a confusing year.) Is anyone involved in a risky sporting activity? Or contemplating becoming involved? Careful then that avoidable accidents do not take place as a result of bravado.
Leo: July 23 – August 23
Every now and then there comes the realisation that, no matter how subtle we are, or persuasive, that which we have been hinting at just isn't going to come to pass – and we are going to have to live with it. Maybe learn to make the best of that which remains which, on reflection, probably isn't that bad anyway. You might be asked to explain a course of action you have taken – but it is doubtful whether you will be understood – let the result of those actions speak for themselves.
Virgo: August 24 – Sep 23
If you have been a little bored of recent times then you can expect events to emerge that have the potential to eradicate that feeling a busy, busy week that keeps you well and truly on your toes. Funny though, when it is over, you will probably feel bored again which suggests that you might need to look at your lifestyle, and see what is required at a core level. An invitation emerges from an unlikely source that sets the pulses racing is love shyly knocking on your door?
Libra: Sept 24th - Oct 23
There is a possibility that events occur that encourage you to look more deeply into that hidden spiritual side of your nature. But be sure that the physical world is in place before you explore the meta-physical. Keep your eyes peeled, for you might be called upon to relate what you have seen, or heard, and accuracy is essential. A journey somebody undertakes away from hearth and home will give you precious time to review a situation to see how viable it actually is.
Scorpio: Oct 24 - Nov 22
Are the health issues still hanging around? Or is it that circumstances in a medical practise are creating problems – perhaps the effectiveness has been compromised by staffing levels. Which doesn't really help you as a patient does it? The advice is perhaps, not to meekly accept what you are being told and ask relevant questions of those in authority. There could be news this week of additions to family, maybe the anticipation of another baby excites putative siblings.
Sagittarius: Nov 23 - Dec 21st
Every now and then, all of us who are parents, are called upon to deal with fractious teenagers. It is not a lot of fun, and the likelihood of us getting the balance right is dubious. However, as a result of your efforts and understanding there is the feeling that at least one of your off-spring is about to emerge from that long, dark, night of the teenage soul and into some semblance of embryonic maturity.
Capricorn: Dec 22 - Jan 21
Maybe a promise made, or a course of action decided upon is getting in the way, or maybe a realisation that, in these difficult times, belts need to be tightened and appropriate measures are needed. Discover too, that no matter how old we are, there are still lessons of life to be learned. That an old dog can still learn those new tricks so what I wonder will you Capricorneans be discovering in the course of this decisive sort of week.
Aquarius: Jan 22 - Feb 19th
You might be feeling as if somebody upon whom you felt you could rely might have let you down, maybe was not there for you when you were in need. But don't make judgements on the hoof, so to speak, and maybe explore the nooks and crannies of that person's life, to discover perhaps that he/she actually had more problems than you at that particular time. Good news for someone with a function of some sort planned for this weekend. (maybe it won't be raining).
Pisces: Feb 20 - March 20
A trip to the North, ostensibly to explore a new business proposition, could well find you adding another skill to your cv. A new hobby could well become a minor obsession for you but there is still the sense of it being more positive than otherwise. A special anniversary needs to be remembered, but more than that, needs to be celebrated. A recent move of home might turn out to be less than straightforward than you might have wished. Perhaps one final check of contracts is called for.

Google AlertWhen a company which has it's European Headquarters here in Ireland is called 'evil' and 'immoral' by M.P.s in The House of Commons you tend to sit up and take notice. The particular company that was being referred to was Google and the reason it had enraged M.P.s in London was because even though it has a big operation there and conducts a lot of business there it pays no corporate tax. It does this by having all of its financial transactions finished here in Ireland. And the company here is …
