Boots Ireland launches Food Intolerance Testing Service

Wednesday, 16th May 2012

Boots Ireland has announced the launch of a food intolerance testing service in 64 of its pharmacy stores located throughout Ireland.

Boots is enhancing and extending the pharmacy-led support it provides to people with food intolerances with the right information, conversations, services and products to inspire our customers to feel in control of their health and to live happier and healthier lives with their condition. The Food Intolerance Testing Service is available in Boots stores to both adults and children aged six months and over.

Many unpleasant health symptoms could be related to food intolerance. Sufferers often experience bloating, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea and constipation. Food intolerance has also been linked to conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, sinusitis, migraine and skin conditions such as eczema.
