Fluid versus Fat

Most people (people in particular) who think that they are carrying too much fat may actually be carrying a large amount of fluid. Dieting has no affect for these people in achieving the size that they want to be as dieting does not get rid of fluid.

There are 3 reasons why people carry fluid:

- Dehydration

- Toxin build up, such as acids, in the system

- Poor digestion

These three reasons also lead on to forms of arthritis in the body if not dealt with in time. In my experience in dealing with this problem in people, many can and have carried anything up to between 8 and 15 litres of fluid in their body. Taking into account that each litre is equal to a kilo, it makes an incredible difference to their health and energy, as well as their physical appearance, when this is released from the system. It needs to be released slowly, however, to prevent any damage to the body's organs (e.g- liver, kidneys, etc.).

In order to deal with dehydration, toxin build up and poor digestion in the body, and therefore reduce the amount of fluid carried, here are some key secrets:

- Aim to drink at least 3 pints of good quality water each day

- Drink a pint of water an hour before each meal

- Don't drink with your meals

- Wait at least an hour after each meal to drink anything

Doing this hydrates the body and promotes stronger lymphatic drainage, which gets rid of toxins more quickly. Also, by not drinking until 1/2 an hour after eating, it promotes a stronger digestive system which stops bloating and tiredness after eating. By following this program for as little as 2 weeks, it will have an amazing effect on energy levels and people have even reported an improvement in their sleeping patterns.

Also, it should be taken into account some of the foods and drinks that cause too much toxins to build up in the body, such as tea, coffee, carbonated drinks and red meat. The build of acids, such as uric acid, caused from the intake of these products are a main cause for the build-up of fluid in the body. The first three places people will notice fluid build-up are the upper arms, thighs and waist. By cutting down on the intake of these products, the levels of toxins and fluid in the body will be reduced.

Fluid build-up is the main reason why people in particular suffer with these areas of the body. Following the above advice, along with a personal detox program, should have a noticeable effect on the body and greatly help in people achieving to be a smaller size, particularly in these areas.
