Aries: March 21 – April 20
Inefficiencies from those who should know better – teachers, lawyers, civil servants – could well get in the way of your best laid plans this week. So don’t expect everything to go as smoothly as you wish, and be prepared to make a (polite) nuisance of yourself as you argue your case. Watch out for small pains that could get worse if they are not attended to.
Taurus: April 21 – May 21
Finances have been at a particularly low ebb during January, and you might need to keep a close eye on unexpected expenditure during the first couple of weeks of February (can you believe it is February already), however, there is a feeling that as we approach St Patrick’s day things begin to move in a better direction. The job market is challenging to say the least – but good news emerges for an ex ‘Talk Talk’ employee.
Gemini: May 22 – June 21
Sometimes juggling with lots of options at the one time, no matter how good you are at it, can actually muddy your waters. It would be better to focus on the priorities. If you are unsure as to what they are, don’t be afraid to ask someone older and wiser, possibly someone who has already experienced such confusion. A loved one – child, partner, parent – is feeling left out. Maybe find some time for them in your busy life.
Cancer: June 22 – July 22
After taking some time to think about things, you might find that financial commitments can be made with a little more confidence. As a result there seems to be more stability around you and yours. Which doesn’t mean that you can start splashing out on everything like a lotto winner, but rather that your budget seem to stretch more easily that once it did.
Leo: July 23 – August 23
We Leos are in a somewhat wistful frame of mind this week recalling, as we will, events of the past, anniversaries perhaps, of days gone, almost beyond recall. Wondering perhaps whether it could all have been done differently. It couldn’t have been of course, we did what we did, and now move positively forward into bright tomorrows created by those uncertain yesterdays.
Virgo: August 24 – Sep 23
The younger Virgo people who are contemplating setting up in a new home, or moving away from the family nest for the first time, might find the whole episode more complicated and challenging than they might have imagined. Don’t just shrug off those difficulties in the hope that it will all fall into place, but rather be prepared to ask for advice as landlords turn out not to be charitable organisations – especially when it comes to deposits.
Libra: Sept 24th - Oct 23
The health service in this fair land moves slowly like an arthritic elephant, but goes inexorably forward. It takes ages to achieve anything but if you have the time and patience, you do, eventually arrive at a goal of sorts. And for you Libran people it seems as if your patience has paid off as that envelope falls on to the door mat, and a long standing health problem is about to be sorted.
Scorpio: Oct 24 - Nov 22
Isn’t it wonderful to discover that you are at last about to realise a goal for which you have striven for ages now. It might still need a little hard work – but you are not fazed by that – as you realise how all the effort will, at last, prove to be well worth it. There is also a sense of you needing to restructure responsibilities as you try to balance your working and family lives so nobody misses out on your precious time.
Sagittarius: Nov 23 - Dec 21st
Things might turn out to be a little unpredictable – even surprising as we enter the shortest month of this leap year. So if you are seeking excitement you will not be disappointed – the suggestion is that you go with the flow and keep a suitcase packed and an up to date passport to hand. Be prepared though, amid all the rush and tumble, to be there for someone who will call on you for aid of some sort.
Capricorn: Dec 22 - Jan 21
Two invitations arriving at the same time could set the cat amongst the pigeons as each of you want to visit different venues. Diplomacy will be the name of this particular game as no easy answer to the enigma emerges – one of you will need to bite the bullet and back down. Career prospects take a better turn for you as a move toward greater responsibility beckons.
Aquarius: Jan 22 - Feb 19th
Somebody who has lived a life of enforced celibacy of recent times is about to have a rather more exciting time of it – discovering that love, though desirable, is not the only answer to the complications of life. That possibly it creates as many problems as it solves – It is just that a life with love in it, is definitely more fun than a life without love.
Pisces: Feb 20 - March 20
Do you sometimes get the feeling that you have just agreed to something that you would never, had you been in your right mind, agreed to – and have no idea how you are going to get out of it? Well, Pilgrim, it feels like that at the moment – and you are going to have to think long and hard, and maybe the phrase ‘no more Mr Nice Guy’ comes to mind. You might also be a little wary about allowing someone else to make fiscal decisions on your behalf.

The news that the Yes side in favour of the Fiscal Referendum have seized the momentum with the majority of Irish voters is just an indication of how the debate over this issue is beginning to shape up. That Declan Ganly has weighed in on the side of the No vote also shows that there is still a lot to play for until the Irish electorate give the final decision later on this month. The Government parties as well as the main opposition party, Fianna Fail, are in favour of the Yes vote but so far little has reall …
