Natural Healing - FEELING GOOD NOW!

Most people want and deserve to feel good in themselves. By feeling good I mean that you feel energy in your body that says when you wake up: "Great, another day I'm here to enjoy!" Or the opposite may be true, saying "Oh no, not another day, I feel terrible and have to get up and struggle."

So how can we change our energy to create that feel-good factor that allows our day to flow at ease for us all. We may not have control of our lives: life can be with us one day and gone the next, so it is important to make the most of every day now! But we do have control over how we feel, via our thoughts and our breathing. Our breathing is our inner authentic power that connects us to our spirit "within." Our spirit is the very breath of our life. When our breathing stops, we die in our body, but the spirit lives on.

Try this simple exercise to help you connect to your mind, body and spirit, and feel the benefit with balanced energy in the body. Daily practice can give amazing results!

1. Detox the mind

Take a deep breath in, then as you slowly exhale, imagine yourself breathing out all your fears, worries, guilt, illnesses, pain and so on. Imagine a sewer drain: you lift the lid and breathe all your unwanted baggage into the drain. When you feel that your mind is clearer, put the lid back on the drain. Try six breaths into the sewer: I normally find this is enough, but do more if you need to!

2. Breathe consciously

Slowly and deeply breathe in, then slowly exhale and tell your body "I now feel relaxed." Repeat 12 times. Listen to the sound of your breathing, and just allow yourself to feel your body relaxing.

3. Affirm your day

The internal negative blocking mechanism is now gone. Your body is relaxed, and what you tell it, it will believe. Chose your thoughts carefully for the day: try something like "I choose to be healthy now. I choose to enjoy every moment of my day and to feel good. I choose thoughts of inner peace because they feel better in my body."

You see, our natural state is to be happy and healthy. So be positive and kind to yourself in your thoughts, and feel the benefit in your body. Yes, it really is that simple!
