Annual Cuppa & Cookie event

Funds raised by Children in Hospital Ireland Cuppa & Cookie Event will be used to support the play facilitation services that Children in Hospital Ireland provide in 13 hospitals across Ireland. This service is much valued by the families of children in hospital as it can give parents a break to get a cup of tea or simply provide some fun for the child during their hospitalisation.

The annual fundraising event was launched on Tuesday 29th May with CHI representatives hoping people will host a coffee morning any day throughout the month of June to raise funds to help make hospital a happier place for children.

CHI CEO, Anna Gunning said "Hosting a Cuppa & Cookie morning is a wonderful, social way to raise support and awareness for CHI and to give people an opportunity to get together with friends and colleagues while helping to fund a vital service to support children who are in hospital".

All funds raised will help to provide much needed arts & crafts materials, books and games as well as expanding our training and support programmes for CHI volunteers.
