Edmund Rice Active Retirement

Our next outing will meet at Main Gate in People's park on Tuesday 27th Feb @ 12 noon (weather permitting) and will proceed to Marina Hotel for 1a.m. Our next meeting is Thursday March 1st @ 2.30 in Edmund Rice Centre.

Fostering Changes Lives

Fostering Fortnight, formerly known as Fostering Awareness Week, is coming up from February 26th to March 9th. Oak Lodge Fostering Services Waterford are holding a coffee and information morning on February 22nd in the Stage Door Café at the Theatre Royal, Waterford from 10am to 12 noon. The aim of Fostering Fortnight is to develop people’s awareness and understanding of foster care in Ireland and to highlight the incredible work foster carers all over the country do. We are asking people to come together with us in support of this very important event - come along and have a cuppa and cake, listen to foster carers stories, share some of your own and let us share some of ours and explain and celebrate the incredible work that goes on in support of our many vulnerable children.

Comeragh mountaineering club

Brian Jacob will lead a walk to the the Coum Éag area of the Comeraghs next Sunday 26th Febuary. Boots essential. Hat gloves, rain gear, extra clothes for winter walking, food and hot drink advised. Medjugorje Healing Mass

The above Mass will be held on Wednesday the 28th of Feb. 2018, in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Mount Sion, Barrack St. Waterford starting with the Holy Rosary at 7.30pm followed by Holy Mass. Engineer’s Week Workshop

To celebrate Engineer’s Week 2018, Lismore Heritage Centre is running a S.T.E.M. workshop for children aged 6-12 years. This workshop takes place on Saturday 24th February from 11.00am-1.45pm and we will be exploring BIG engineering projects with lots of hands on fun. As part of the workshop, the children will enjoy a FREE screening of "Dream Big" a short film narrated by Jeff Bridges which is exclusive to Engineer’s Week Events.
