Ardscoil Na Mara are proud to announce that out of the 5 competitors from the Waterford area that have qualified to compete in the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition at the RDS in Dublin, 4 participants are pupils in our school. We are particularly delighted that Waterford, which has such strong tradition in the Science industries, is so well represented.

Over 2,000 projects were submitted from schools all around the country, and it is an amazing achievement that our students are among only 550 projects to qualify.

    Religious ToleranceAt a public meeting last week to discuss the plans for a new mosque in Kilkenny, it seemed that out of the crowd of approximately 200 that attended, the overwhelming majority were against the idea.
