The Irish Red Cross will be holding a Health & Wellbeing Evening in Thomastown Community Centre on Wednesday 17th May at 7.30 pm.

Dr Patrick Condon will be presenting a speech on the aforementioned issue, entitled “A Matter of Life & Death: Why we need 24/7 Cardiac Care in the South East.” Cllr Breda Gardner, who was recently appointed as Chair of Carlow Kilkenny Red Cross, will also give a talk entitled “Positive Ways to improve your Health & Being,” based on her experience working as a nurse and complementary health practitioner. There will also be a discussion about setting up a branch of the Red Cross in Thomastown.
