A Concert of Music and Poetry on a Reflective Theme

From the team that brought you the very successful Christmas in Benildus brings you REFLECTION, a concert of music and poetry on a reflective theme. This concert will take place on Friday the 7th April and 8.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, it is not a fundraising event, but one where you can come along and be musically and spiritually lifted just before Holy and Easter week. The concept is 2 sopranos, 2 tenors and 2 amazing local choirs, all accompanied by an international pianist, Chengwei Li. This Chinese born artist will also play some solo items, as we place a grand piano on the alter, making it a beautiful spectacle. The poetry for the evening will be read by a local member of the community, and more on this as we progress over the coming weeks.

Our soloists, Valerie Leahy, Donna Roche, Dermot Doyle and Dominic McGorian will perform a diverse program, from opera classics to popular hits, with uplifting spiritual pieces, such as a beautiful Our Father, being also added. The superb DORDAN and Tramore Gospel Choir will sing solo repertoire and join the soloists along this enlightening path, all deliver positively, bringing a wonderful event to this beautiful church.
