The Cast Of Cheers

Wednesday, 19th September 2012

London based Irish alternative rock band, The Cast Of Cheers, returned home for Electric Picnic earlier this month and by all accounts tore the roof off The Cosby Stage, getting one of the best audience reactions of the whole weekend. Earlier this year the lads released their second album "Family" to great reviews in the UK press:

"The Cast Of Cheers could be the perfect band for 2012" - NME

"Brilliant" – Sunday Times Culture

The band have also just been confirmed to play the NME's prestigious "Generation Next" UK Tour in October, alongside the much hyped Howler from the USA. The last Irish band the NME raved about this much was Two Door Cinema Club back in 2009 and look at them now! Before they head to the UK, The Cast Of Cheers play a few select Irish dates, including their Waterford debut at The Forum this Saturday, 22 September (doors 9pm). Support on the night comes from the hotly tipped indie-electro outfit, Kowalski. Tickets are available on the door.
