SKINS Warehouse Party
Wednesday, 8th August 2012
The Forum's main room hosts a SKINS themed Warehouse Party on Saturday, 18 August. Admission is FREE and there is also a FREE "Skins" shot for the first 100 through the doors (opening at 12am). The Bafta award winning British teen drama has been a huge ratings success over the last 5 years and most current Irish 18 to 21 year olds would have grown up with characters like; Sid, Tony, Cassie, Michelle, Chris, Maxxie, (first generation); Effy, James, Pandora, Freddie, Katie, Emily (second generation); and Franky, Alo, Rich, Mini, Liv and Grace (third generation). The idea of the party is to celebrate all things "SKINS", with a sound track of all the BIG tunes from the 6 series and 55 episodes to date, plus background projections of classic scenes, all in a big black box of a room, "warehouse" style. So if you like the music of Crystal Castles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Alex Metric, Bloc Party, zZz, The Vaccines, Skream, The Drums, Fat Segal, Gossip and all the rest (loud and lively), get yourself and your Skins attitude to The Forum on Saturday, 18 August, from midnight til late.
