This 1923 film classic centres around a universal story of unrequited love. Set in 15th Century Paris, the film documents issues around class, disability, corruption, revolt and the city.
Quasimodo, the hunchback in the film’s title, is a bell ringer and, finding himself outcast by society, lives a solitary life, secretly observing the world around him. That is, until he falls for the charms of a beautiful gypsy girl.
A rare chance to catch a classic of cinematic history in a wonderfully atmospheric setting. NB: Please note this event is likely to end after midnight.
