Little Red Kettle presents "Pearls Colour Dream"

Little Red Kettle presents

The Little Red Kettle cast and crew are in the middle of their intense rehearsal process, preparing for their up and coming performance of Pearl's Colour Dream".

This year's play is a re vamp of an older script written by Ben Hennessy and Liam Meagher, first performed in 1998. 14 years later there are some old and new faces working on the project, Nick Kavanagh, in his first year directing the Summer Play and Margaret O' Mahony who began on "The 4 Euclids of Squid" in 1996, to name but a few of this hard working, dedicated team.

In March, Little Red Kettle auditioned over 350 youngsters and had to contend with the extremely difficult task of narrowing the selection down to just forty-eight. The company now believes it has found 48 of Waterford's finest young actors between the ages of 9 and 12, and their performances will surprise and delight. Pearl's Colour Dream is a fantastical tale of how imagination and dreams can become a reality. Pearl dreams in colour and one night the evil Plague kidnaps the orange, green, purple, blue and red cat… only yellow escapes… Through the help of her friends she sets out to save the others and in the meantime help her sickly Granddad finish his final painting. Prepare yourselves for spectacular production filled with Colourdee Cats, Flying Bats and Scurrying Rats and the odd evil witch!

The play opens August 15th to 18th with previews on August 11th and 13th in Garter Lane Theatre. Ticket prices €15 and €12 concession with Previews €13 and €11 concession.

This play will delight audiences young and old and is not to be missed. Tickets are on sale now in the Garter Lane box office 051 – 855038 or online at http://www.garterlane.ie

There is little about summit meeting that the …
