Aisling Douris

Seventeen year old Aisling has been studying music in WIT Music School since she was aged only four. She has just completed her Diploma in Music Performance on violin under Eimear Heeney. She is also currently studying piano, voice and music theory. Aisling has a host of competitive successes, amongst which were recent prize winnings at the Dublin Feis Ceoil in violin and violin concerto. She has been selected as a Co Leader of the National Youth Orchestra for which she received a scholarship . A real young talent to keep an eye on.

Aisling will perform with Cara O'Sullivan, Ireland's Premier Soprano, at the "Midsummer Magic” concert in aid of the Waterford Hospice Movement at the Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, Waterford on Friday 13th July.

    Google AlertWhen a company which has it's European Headquarters here in Ireland is called 'evil' and 'immoral' by M.P.s in The House of Commons you tend to sit up and take notice. The particular company that was being referred to was Google and the reason it had enraged M.P.s in London was because even though it has a big operation there and conducts a lot of business there it pays no corporate tax.
