As part of the Art on the Rails series, art will be displayed on the railings surrounding the cathedral. This exhibition, entitled "Mine” will be comprised entirely of 2D pieces. All pieces will be available for purchase and all participating artists will be onsite and available to chat. Inside the Cathedral, a lunchtime coffee concert by: Jordan's Rigout, a collective of Waterford-based musicians brought together by the simple pleasure of playing music. Born in the back snug of Jordan's roughly a year ago, this group of musicians have been warming the cockles of the hearts of those who have made it along to their regular Tuesday night sessions in the American Bar on the Quay.
The group play a heady mix of folk, blues and trad tunes, with some original compositions thrown in for good measure. They look forward to bringing their unique, warm sound to the intimate setting of Christchurch Cathedral.
Saturday 21st July at 12 noon. Tickets €7 / €5 concession. Children U14 free
