Jam Tarts Are At It Again In Shortt's
Wednesday, 4th July 2012
Sunday July 5th will be music for your ears at Shortt's live music venue as the wonderfully wacky Jam Tarts launch a musical assault that will leave your toes tingling and the oulde head hopping! The Jam Tarts are a very popular four-piece group who have been on the live scene for over ten years. Playing various pubs and clubs in the South East and being regular headliners at local and national festivals, this band has established a large and loyal (if somewhat crazy) following.
The Tarts play a variety of covers ranging from The Beatles and The Monkees to The Cure and The Stone Roses, from Al Green and Smokey Robinson to Prince and Iggy Pop (with a little bit of Andy Williams meets Michael Jackson). With a line up
consisting of acoustic guitar, bass, drums, mandolin/electric guitar and three part vocal harmonies the Jam Tarts are very well known for delivering a highly energetic live performance. .
