Roadhouse Doors @ The Forum

Wednesday, 27th June 2012

"Keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel" as the Roadhouse Doors bring their explosive audio-visual live tribute show to the Forum Venue on Saturday, 28th July. The Roadhouse Doors are Ireland's best and most authentic tribute to legendary LA rockers The Doors, and make their Forum Venue debut after rocking venues and wowing Doors fans all over the country. Doors are at 11.30pm and after some classic 60/70s rock to set the scene (Hendrix/Stones/Who/Dylan/Byrds/Zeppelin/etc), the lads will take to the stage at midnight for a 2 hour set. Admission is €10, pay on the door.

The Roadhouse Doors Show is a unique tribute that recreates the look, feel and sound of a live 1960's Doors concert as closely as possible. To get that edgy, authentic Doors' sound, the band use genuine vintage equipment ( the same ones that The Doors themselves used) including Vox Continental and Hammond Organs, Rhodes Electric Piano, and Gibson SG Guitars. The Roadhouse Doors' 2 hour show includes all the great Doors songs, including the big hitters such as Roadhouse Blues, Riders On The Storm, Break On Through, Light My Fire, The End, Peace Frog, LA Woman, Five to One, When The Music's Over, Break On Through, Love Me Two Times and many more. To recreate the whole 1960's feel, the band have also assembled some nostalgic audio montages from the LA scene as a backdrop to the show. The Roadhouse Doors will definitely light your fire.

It does this by having all of its financial transactions finished here in Ireland. And the company here is …
