Tramore Gospel Singers and the Music in Motion Choir perform together in Waterford Regional Hospital for Love Live Music Day
In celebration of Love Live Music Day the Tramore Gospel Singers and the Brothers of Charity Music in Motion Choir will perform a special concert in association with Waterford Healing Arts Trust on Thursday 21st June at 7.30pm in the Waterford Regional Hospital foyer.
The Tramore Gospel singers (pictured above) was founded and in 2004 and is musically directed by well known local musician Jane O'Brien Moran. The choir since establishment has grown from strength to strength and currently has in excess of thirty members. The singers regularly perform at events which include corporate functions, weddings and festivals and play various music ranging from gospel and spirituals to folk and popular.
Music in Motion (above right) is a newly established choir set up in 2011 by speech therapist Ashley Boyle. The choir is made up of staff and service users of the Brothers of Charity Services who use the lámh sign system, for children and adults with intellectual disability, to sing along to songs.
The event for Love Live Music Day will be the first time both choirs will collaborate and perform together. The performance will include renditions of Lean on Me, Here Comes the Sun, This Little Light of Mine, Galway Girl and many more.
The Waterford Healing Arts Trust (WHAT) is one of Ireland's leading Arts and Health programmes. Based in Waterford Regional Hospital, Ireland, WHAT supports healthcare environments and the wider community by providing multi-disciplinary arts experiences and services.

Theatre Royal Looks Forward To Welcoming Visitors This Summer
The Theatre Royal on The Mall in the cultural heart of the city is looking forward to welcoming visitors both local and tourist into the historic building this summer. The venue continues to house the Municipal Art Collection and invites all to come and view while enjoying the excellent facilities of the Cafe Royal which is complimented by panoramic views of the mall.
Open from 8am with delicious breakfast served followed by morning coffee, lunch and afternoon treats. An excellent way to spend a portion of your day!

The forthcoming autumn season is jam packed from late August with events to suit all tastes. Some of these include a welcome return of both The All Star Wars and The Waterford Harvest Festival, Calendar Girls, the very funny Ardal O'Hanlon and The Original Rudeboys to name but a few.
