Summer arrives in Tramore

Samhraidh' - a collection of summer inspired artwork - will run from June 2nd to 27th at the Tramore Coastguard Cultural Centre.

Kilkenny artist Paul Mosse will officially open the exhibition at 2pm on Saturday 2nd June, with music by ambient producer miXile.

It features work by four artists based in the South East: Niall Bracken, Kathleen Delaney, Milia Tsaoussis-Maddock and Chris O'Brien Shanahan.

Niall's abstract landscapes catch the changing patterns in nature. Kathleen derived inspiration from a series of photographs taken at the V&A in London.

Milia's work is inspired by the colour, forms and rhythm Waterford's coastline. Christine's imagery is imbued with themes of renewal and harmony.

Opening hours: 10.30am to 5pm on weekdays and 12am to 5pm at the weekend, admission is free.

Luminous Live

Luminous Live and Sal's Waterford are proud to present to the Waterford scene an electronic extravaganza to include Roam (Brian Diolun) from Cork featuring alongside the prodigal son of the live scene Molotov Ape and one of our long term heroes Dave Kelly providing visuals and and aftershow DJ set. Taking place on Friday 25th May in Sal's, the Quay, this will be a night of musical adventure and visual exploration.
