Convention at Shortt's Bar this Friday
City Vibes have been a weekly fixture as the second room to Shortts Friday Night Live events since March.
While the main room brings some top quality bands, City Vibes resides in the heated terrace and it brings a unique blend of Disco, Funk and Soul edits. On top of the quality tunes City Vibes regularly like to introduce something a little different, they recently had a graffiti artist do a piece while the residents took care of the sounds.
They have also brought in second-hand record dealers from around the country to sell their wares. One such group from Cork are Hobo Records who travel around the country as The Hobo Convention. They sell a great selection of funk, soul, disco, hiphop and other rare grooves. The Hobo boys will be making a return to City Vibes this coming Friday May 25th.
If you haven't checked out a City Vibes night yet, come along this Friday flick through some records and chill out at Waterford's music alternative. It all kicks off from 11pm and entry is FREE.
