Double Grammy Award winning guitar legend, Albert Lee celebrates 50 years as a professional musician with a very special performance at Forum Waterford tonight, Wednesday, May 23rd. A country-rock legend, a true guitar virtuoso, Lee's unique style has influenced an array of famous guitarists who have followed in his distinctive footsteps. In a career now spanning 50 years, Albert Lee's contribution to the world of popular music is immeasurable: he has recorded and performed with the biggest and most celebrated names in the music industry. And while he has rightfully earned the title "Mr. Guitar Hero" within the music industry, it should also be remembered that Albert Lee is a highly successful recording artist in his own right. His famous composition "Country Boy", features some of the hottest guitar playing ever recorded. He has released numerous albums both as a solo artist and with his long standing touring band, Hogan's Heroes.
