Summer Camp
Do you have a young person who would like to get a taste of the performing arts for one week?
Do you have any budding filmmakers or film
animation makers?
Would you like to make a play in one week? Would you like to create a work of art or put together an art exhibition?
Would you like to learn more dance moves from contemporary to Hip Hop?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes then you need to register for Waterford Youth Arts Summer camp which runs from Mon. 16th to Friday 20th July.
WYA are organising an intensive fun week for younger people – catering for three age groups:
- 4 – 6 years from 10am to 12noon
- 7 – 9years from 10am to 2.30pm
- 10 – 13years from 10am to 3.30pm
The youngest age group will be doing a variety of craft making, art, storytelling, movement and drama.
The two other groups will have choices they need to decide what they would mainly like to work on through the week, they will all get a taste of drama, movement, art and film but we want them to sign up for some of the following:
- Make a short film or animation film
- Create an art gallery (and your own work of art)
- Make a short play
- Create a new hip hop dance
