Tramore Comhaltas Branch is busily preparing tunes for our gathering in The Grand Hotel on May 13th between 5pm and 7pm with the potential of sessioning longer!!:)
On the same day at 11am we are running a flute/whistle workshop with Ciaran Sommers from Carlow as tutor. This is open to the public . It is to be held in Gael Scoil Philib Barún Sunday 13th May 11 to 12 noon for beginners and 12 to 1pm for Intermediate. If you have an interest in learning bodhran we will also run bodhran workshop at the same times and venue. So come along and learn a few more tunes from one of the top flute players in Ireland. You can further develop your skill by then attending his flute workshop at the Munster Fleadh in July as Ciaran is a tutor there also
Redminder we have our adult session Thursday May 10th in Gael Scoil after classes at 8.30pm.
Congrautlations to SeaNua on their wonderful performance in the National Concert Hall on Sunday last April 29th. They did us proud and we will hear a lot more of this band! Watch out for them as they play support to Danu and Caladh Nua in the Munster Fleadh in Dungarvan mid July! More details to follow.
