Saturday 12th has something special on route. The Cold 100 and Kodakid. The Cold 100 are a 4 piece Blues/Rock band based in Dublin. Taking the bulk of their influences from the old blues men of Chicago and the Mississippi Delta and 60's,70's rockers such as The Stones, Led
Zeppelin and Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, The Cold 100 channel much of the same spirit, passion and power in their music and performancesthat these great artists explemlified in their songs. Particular influences on the band are the likes of Son House, Muddy Waters, Howlin'
Wolf, and the enigmatic Robert Johnson. It was a lyric taken from the 1937 Robert Johnson classic "Terraplane Blues" that provided the band with their name.Kodakid will be fresh back playing from festival of fires and Maddens of Bundoran with studio time booked and gig galore these boys are what you call a hard working band to the T.Tunes on by MR Dj Clarky some say he he was forged from the ashes of James Brown and once stole Ian Brown haircut but we love him so expect some classic indie to a bit of indies soul
