Waterford Healing Arts Trust's

The Waterford Healing Arts Trust's Healing Sounds music programme presented a live performance by musicians Kate Powell and William McGlynn at Waterford Regional Hospital on Monday 23rd April 2012 for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors.

Kate and William are Kilkenny based musicians who both have impressive musical resumes. William has been a professional musician for most of his life playing with the National Orchestra of Wales for 10 years. Kate is a violinist who studied at Edinburgh University. Since moving to Ireland Kate has been more involved with Theatre work and working with children's programmes throughout community groups and schools.

Kate and William started their performance in the foyer of Waterford Regional Hospital at 1.30pm on Monday 23rd April 2012. They then moved on and entertained the patients, visitors and staff of Medical 1 at 2.15pm and Surgical 7 at 3.30pm for the final performance of the day.

Healing Sounds aims to provide an enjoyable diversion for patients, staff and visitors to the hospital through a programme of high quality live music performances.
