Get Down With Daft Funk!

Wednesday, 2nd May 2012

"Harder-better-faster-stronger" sums up the line-up for Forum Waterford's Bank Holiday party this Sunday 6th May. DAFT FUNK are gonna rock you with their amazing audio/visual tribute to the world's greatest ever dance music act, DAFT PUNK. Support comes from GET DOWN'S Daz & Martin, who are beginning to get an international reputation for their disco/funk/house remixes & re-edits. Doors on the night are at 11.30pm and admission is just €5 before 12am.

DAFT FUNK are the original and best Daft Punk tribute act on the planet. Having played to over 40,000 people since they began doing live shows in 2008, they promise to send you home all funked up. Expect to hear Da Funk, Around The World, Aerodynamic, One More Time, Digital Love, Harder Better Faster Stronger, Robot Rock and all the rest. GET DOWN's Daz & Martin are known for their "anything goes" music policy of funk, soul, disco & electronica mixed in a house party style, They have always done their own remixes/re-edits and last summer the best of these made it to vinyl as "Get Down Edits Vol 1", which sold out in all the major UK stores and the digital release remained in Juno downloads Top 10 for two months. With international bookings now coming in at the Disco Deviance night in London and the Electric Elephant festival in Croatia, 2012 is shaping up very nicely for Get Down.
