Forever Present American Music Club
Wednesday, 16th January 2008
You know, there are only two venues that would dare present relevant contemporary music in Waterford right now and man that's a bit scary. Even then, unless it's a surefirewinner, I would say that the promoters can be seeing levitating in their respective beds. So, when something like American Music Club take on an Irish tour and Waterford is excluded questions should be asked not of the
promoters but of the so called punters, or lack of, in the likkle home town.
You can, however, take in legendary American Music Club at selected other venues when they play Cyprus Avenue on Wednesday 30th January, Dolan's of Limerick on Thursday 31st, Roisin Dubh Galway Friday 1st Feb and Dublin's Whelans on
Saturday 2nd.
American Music Club's new album "THE GOLDEN AGE" is done! The album will be released in February by Cooking Vinyl in Europe. The track listing is as follows:
1. All My Love
2. The Victory Choir
3. The Decibels and the Little Pills
4. The Sleeping Beauty
5. The Stars
6. All the Lost Souls Welcome You to San Francisco
7. Who You Are
8. The Windows of the world
9. One Step Ahead
10. The Dance
11. I know That's Not Really You
12. On My Way
13. The Grand Duchess of San Francisco
