The Original Rudeboys' debut album 'This Life' has been certified gold in Ireland. It's an outstanding achievement for the band and is a testament to their dedicated work ethic, relentless gigging, and their winning way with a memorable tune. 'This Life', which was produced by Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith), was released in March 2012, charting at # 3, and has been a permanent fixture on the Irish album charts ever since. The Original Rudeboys have also just completed a European tour as special guests to The Script where they performed to over 50,000 people.

With rehearsals now under way at Garter Lane, the search is on for a young local boy to play the role of the Ragamuffin in Tom Stoppard's comic masterpiece, On the Razzle. Opening at Garter Lane on June 11th and running for two weeks, director, Jim Nolan has assembled a top notch cast of some twenty five actors and with rehearsals in full swing for what promises to be the highlight of the theatre's summer season, one role remains to be filled.

The Unusual History of Ether starring Rebecca Collins

The Unusual History of Ether is the song writing partnership of Waterford singer-songwriter Rebecca Collins and Danish guitarist Mikkel Ploug, playing for one night only during the Waterford Festival of Architecture on Saturday 20th April at 8pm, tickets €15 (€10 Garter Lane Friends & concs) on 051-855038 or http://www.garterlane.ie (no booking fee).

The two met several years ago when they played together at the Dublin Fringe Festival and immediately forged a musical connection. 'Blood Brothers' is, at first, a heart-warming story of Mickey and Edward, two brothers separated at birth, brought together again through friendship. However, their relationship is concealed by their guardians who strive to keep them apart because of superstitious beliefs. Despite relocating, their lives continue to intertwine. Edward goes on to study at Oxford whilst Mickey is forced into a life of crime through unemployment. As adults, they are caught up in a vicious love triangle with Mickey's childhood sweetheart Linda. Beating Berlusconi!, a one-man comedy show covering forty characters and Liverpool's famous defeat of AC Milan, visits Theatre Royal for its first ever show in Waterford on Friday May 3rd.

Despite threats from his wife and bank manager, in May 2005 Irish Scouser Kenny Noonan travels to Istanbul to watch Liverpool play AC Milan in the Champions' League Final.

Based on the true story of Mark Radley, a cobbler from Liverpool, Noonan found his way past security into the AC Milan directors' box to watch his team, as he thought, continue to lose miserably to the Italians.
