Heading out the Tramore Road the new Peugeot 208 diesel handled extremely well, cruising comfortably in the Saturday morning traffic. Swinging onto the Outer Ring Road and back into town via the Cork Road the car moved effortlessly along. The redesigned dashboard with an eye-level instrument panel and a large touch-screen, depending on the model chosen, next to it. The level of technology is amazing with bluetooth connection to your iPhone which allows you to connect directly and safely with your contact numbers. Even your photographs can be brought up by a simple touch of the screen.
The redesign of the Peugeut 208 gives a sensation of spaciousness and an ultra modern sportier look and feel. The smaller steering wheel makes for more comfortable driving and reacts smoothly to the slightest touch.
Into the inner city and along the Quays the car zips along and braking and accelerating efficiently and quietly in reaction to traffic build-up. Out the Dunmore Road in busy traffic the all round visibility allows the driver to have total reliance on his/her ability to react swiftly to changes in traffic patterns.
Visually the Peugeot 208 is a stylish and sportier looking car. Every tiny detail has been designed to give an overall effect of harmony from the floating grille, new signature lights and boomerang rear lights.
