Waterford Salon Wins International Beauty Award

Sam McCauley Beauty Salon in Waterford has been awarded top Guinot Skincare Crown Salon status. Sam McCauley Beauty Salon Waterford and only 14 other Crown Salons were especially selected from among 200 Guinot salons throughout Ireland and is one of only 47 of the 1,600 Guinot salons across Britain and Ireland to win this coveted award.

Attaining Guinot Crown Salon status is recognition of excellence in the field of professional skincare. This special recognition is awarded annually and certifies the impeccable standards of the salon. Crown Salon status is awarded exclusively to salons that are able to fulfil the strictest criteria.

To celebrate the Crown Salons Guinot held a prestigious event in Paris. Crown Salon owners arrived at the luxurious 5-star Sofitel Hotel Scribe in Paris to celebrate the prestigious Crown status. They enjoyed an indulgent champagne reception before being whisked off to board the exclusive Bateaux Parisians for a dinner cruise.

Once aboard welcome drinks were served on the lower deck allowing guests to come together before departing the waterfront. The prestigious Crown award was presented by Ros Grace, Managing Director of Guinot UK and Ireland. A sumptuous three course dinner of refined French cuisine followed on the upper deck, whilst being gently entertained by a live jazz band. Embarking near the Eiffel Tower, the cruise passed a series of beautiful landmarks, including the Le Grand Palais and Le Louvre. Bateaux Parisians encapsulated the wonders of Paris in one evening with breathtaking and magical backdrops. Furthermore, in the spirit of goodwill, Guinot donated £5,000 to Cancer Research in aid of breast cancer. Guests were presented with a Swarvoski crystal pin in memory of the event.

As an additional treat Crown Salons were invited the following day to tour the Guinot Laboratory, allowing each guest to gain a real insight into Guinot skincare. This was followed by a three course lunch at Le Chalet du Moulin, a beautiful country restaurant in the little village of Fontainebleau.
