Minister Phil Hogan T.D. Department for Environment, Local Government paid a visit to Dunhill Ecopark last Saturday 14th January to discuss their proposal for job creation in communities countrywide. He was accompanied by Cllrs Mayor Liam Brazil, Kilrossanty, John Carey, Passage East and Fidelis Doherty, Glenmore. Dunhill had a strong representation present and a lengthy exchange of views ensued. The minister was very impressed with what he saw and heard. He is considering the replication of the Dunhill model, which is self reliant and resilient, throughout the country in the future.
